Determine Financial Need

The basis of determining a student’s financial needs begins with an analysis of the financial status of the student’s and/or the parent’s income. This analysis is accomplished by completing a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) distributed by the U.S. Department of Education. Learn more on the StudentAid.gov website or hotline 1.800.4.FED-AID. When entering your personal information on the FAFSA website, please include our school code: 041509, then we can go over your financial aid options with you.

About FAFSA

The Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) is available online at www.StudentAid.gov, or in paper form from high school counselors and at public libraries. The amount of the award depends upon the determination of the student’s eligibility, his or her enrollment status, cost of attendance, and payment schedule issued by the US Department of Education, Office of Student Financial Assistance.

Great Clips Great Scholarship Program

The annual Great Scholarship Program, given in memory of Alice Madden Barton, offers financial assistance to students across North America totaling over $100,000. The program supports those students pursuing careers in cosmetology by providing tuition assistance. Alice Madden Barton saw firsthand how a career in cosmetology provided opportunity for growth and financial stability. Her hope was that more “young folks” have the same opportunity, so Ray and Rhoda (Great Clips Chairman and Co-Chair of the Board) started the Great Scholarship Program in her memory.

Scholarship values provided by Great Clips, Inc.

Great Clips, Inc. funds this national recruiting program. A total of twenty-two $5,000 scholarships will be given annually to students throughout the United States and Canada.

How students apply:

The application is open year-round. Students will fill out an application and essay question by visiting www.greatclipscareers.com/scholarships or texting “SCHOLARSHIP” to 98765.

Testimonials

This is one of the most organized establishments that I have ever seen. This academy is so blessed to have staff that does so much for their workplace. Glad I was a part of it as a student.

Ezgi K.

stars This is hands down the best school in Georgia. I have never in my life gone to a school where every single person there from the director of admissions, to the staff, to the instructors, to the students are literally so kind it makes you want to cry. You can tell by the curriculum, the way the school is kept, the energy in the building, and literally everything about this establishment, that these people bend over backwards every single day to make your experience that much more worth while.
